Flash Electric is the specialized service division of Ask-Kay Electrical Contractors, a family owned and operated business that traces its root back to 1964.

Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, fifty-two weeks a year, Flash Electric service vehicles are on the streets of metro Atlanta, providing you with the repairs you need, when you need them. We've been there for you since 1964.

Ask-Kay / Flash is licensed, insured and bonded. Flash Electric’s Exclusive Certified Electrician Program assures that our electricians are the best of the best. All of our service vehicles are clearly marked with our logos. You can be sure when you call Flash, you get Flash; not just some subcontractor. Each of our trucks is stocked with over 2,500 service parts and tools. If we don't have it on the truck, it's likely in our $200,000 warehouse inventory. We buy in bulk to keep your costs low.

Each year Flash Electric handles literally thousands of service calls. Each call is just as important as the other. Lighting maintenance & repair; A drop in lighting affects customer perceptions, lessens the attractiveness of your products or building, and impacts employee productivity and safety. Flash’s re-lamping service replaces all the lamps in your facility at the same time. Re-lamping as a group is less expensive than constantly replacing burned out lamps. With a lighting maintenance agreement, our technicians will visit your site on a periodic basis to inspect and make needed repairs to the lighting system. We provide trained full time lighting technicians that perform inspections of all lighting fixtures, then service or repair as necessary. Our stocked service vans provide on the spot lighting repairs to keep your warehouse, commercial or retail facility brightly lit at all times. Our lighting programs can also save your company money. The newest lighting technologies such as T8, T5, electronic ballasts, compact fluorescents, and occupancy sensors, reduce energy costs by up to 70% without sacrificing illumination.

Electrical additions & renovations; Adding on to or renovating an existing structure requires a thorough evaluation of your electrical and electronic systems. A careful on-site evaluation of the current service, wiring, outlets and controls is the first step in determining the scope of your needs.

Ask-Kay / Flash engineers always try to extend and upgrade before recommending starting from "scratch". Our 40 years of construction experience will save you time and money. Once we're involved in your project, we first check all safety concerns that can arise from older wiring, and we'll be sure they are fully up to today's standards. We then evaluate the quantity of power you have and that you'll need, both in the short term and during likely expansions. Your input is essential in directing where service, outlets, and controls are needed, both during this expansion and in any possible modifications that may come later. Our contracts range from $12,000 renovations to projects that run over $4 million and span the range from new construction, to multi-family dwellings, to factories, to historic buildings to retail superstores.
